My Client is a growing international law firm specialising in litigation and dispute resolution, particularly in the insurance, reinsurance and liability areas. They have offices spanning the globe and over 1000 employees, with headquarters in the City of London and several other offices in the UK. They are looking to hire a Credit Control Administrator to join their Accounts Processing Team. The ideal candidate will ideally have some accounts experience and be A Level educated . This role is based at the firm’s Essex office. Responsibilities Provide administrative assistance to the Credit Control team. Assist team members to provide a comprehensive Credit Control service. Assist with the production of reports as required. Update the credit control database regularly and maintain current activity summaries. Preparation of statements and reminder letters to debtors. Chasing debtors frequently by telephone, email and letter. Forward statements and copy bills to lawyers and client Partners as required. Respond to information requests promptly, referring any complex queries to senior members of the Team. Maintain an organised filing system and provide administrative support for the Team. Assist in providing cover during holiday periods. Work closely with the Billing Team and Revenue MI Team to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of bills. Refer any contentious issues to the Assistant Credit Control Manager. Any other ad hoc duties as requested. Candidate Profile You will ideally have some experience within an accounts role Good IT skills, including Word & Excel.
