Overview
Client: Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a high profile Plc organisation to identify a talented Transactional Finance Manager, following a restructure within the Finance Department. The Transactional Finance Manager position, represents an exciting opportunity to form part of a new management team with a key focus on; people development, staff empowerment and engagement with the wider business. It would suit an individual who can work independently, but also think progressively – with the opportunity for involvement in future ERP system/automation projects. The organisation offers a strong benefits package including an attractive bonus and pension scheme. The offices have free on site parking. Role: Duties will include; Management of staff including training, performing appraisals and leading on recruitment when required Establish good working relationships within the wider business to help deliver efficient processes, whilst promoting engagement and collaboration Drive a culture of continuous process improvement across the team Utilise reporting tools to provide performance reporting on KPIs, SLAs and metrics Identify process changes to improve financial controls and reduce processing time Person: The successful candidate will have; Strong financial management experience, ideally within a high volume transactional finance area Extensive staff management experience, with a key focus on staff motivation and people development Relevant qualifications within APA, ICM or AAT would be beneficial Good understanding of working capital and cashflow management Excellent communication and presentation skills To apply for the position please use the link provided, visit the Castlefield website, or contact Hugh Fox via LinkedIn.
