Finance Manager | Award-Winning TV & Film Business | London Harmonic are excited to be working alongside a renowned and exciting Television & Film business. The company have a dynamic SME working environment, and are now looking for a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in scaling the business. You will be the number 2 in Finance, reporting directly into a talented and experienced Finance Director. Working from their Central London location, you will be working closely with a brilliant team of Creatives and Accountants. The company have several different entities; they are involved in online streaming, production and distribution. The turnover is around £30 million, with a finance team of 5, 2 of which will become your direct reports. This is the ideal role for a Management Accountant or Finance Manager, looking to gain more exposure in a broad Finance role, who wants clear career progression. There is the possibility that this position will eventually become the Financial Controller. The Role The position has a wide range of both accounting and commercial exposure. The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading on month-end and oversee the Financial Reporting. With regards to the commercial element, you will be working closely with the Manging Director and the Finance Director on company profitability. As well as having managerial responsibilities for 2 junior members of the finance team, the Finance Manager will oversee some of the budgeting, forecasting and the management reporting. Duties Provide oversight on Budgeting, Forecasting and management reporting Preparation of profitability analysis and cost reports Oversee the Balance Sheet Reconciliations Manage the month-end close procedures Manage and develop two junior colleagues Take ownership for month-end financial reporting Assist the Finance Director with any ad-hoc projects Business Partner with creative departments on costs and production finances. What we need to see (essential): ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Experience in the media industry (TV/Film preferred) What we'd like to see (bonus): Managerial experience Prior work in the TV/Film/Media Production industry.
