Overview

Our client is a multinational Metals, Mining and Engineering group headquartered in London with strategic hubs across Australia, Africa, Europe and North America. With a £8 billion turnover and employing 14,000 staff, they are looking to add to their ever growing team. They are now looking for a driven individual who can play a key role in their newly formed Finance function of their Steel divison which currently has a turnover of £2.5 billion. The FS Financial Controller role will be based in Central London and the successful candidate will be one of the key members of the team reporting to the Regional Financial Controller. Key Responsibilities: Support negotiation with local banks for alternate financing options Manage relationships with credit & other insurance Monthly / Quarterly financial reporting to banks & financial institutions Define and Track TOP 10 Risks for each business Strategic Capex appraisal and Financing support Transaction support and coordination with Corporate Financing team Requirments: 5 -10 years in business control and /or accounting, preferably in manufacturing environments Formal accounting or management accounting qualification Direct experience in financial analysis and reporting Knowledge of designing and / or supporting implementation of systems which facilitate financial planning and analysis Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Any other language a plus Team spirit, entrepreneurial instincts and creative mindset Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages Randstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds.
