This is an exciting opportunity to join a unique transformation and IT services and solutions provider now undergoing a fresh focus to build out the business. With multiple UK wide office locations there’s now a new focus to grow the support services at all levels including an opportunity for an On Site 2nd Line Engineer to be a key part of the business and to help build and manage the support services on site. With over 1200 group wide headcount, this is a great opportunity to build a career. The Role Joining a Managed Service Provider, you will provide 2nd level deskside support on site within the education sector and act as their final point of contact in support. Outside of term times you will be involved in key projects at various sites, giving a blend of different project work. Provide deskside support to 2nd level Support desktop & Printer Issues Support Audio Visual devices (Interactive Whiteboards / Projectors) Suggest improvements for the ongoing development of the service department Experience working within an IT Service Provider / MSP desirable Experience working in a educational environment desirable Technology support will blend across EUC / Modern Desktop and some Server Infrastructure, including: Windows to v 10 Office 365 Active Directory / AAD Exchange Backup / Antivirus Device print Windows Server Virtualisation (Hyper-V) Server to 2016/2019 / SCCM / Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Manager) - desirable Occasional MAC iOS as required Basic routing & Switch admin An understanding and willingness to help others Deliver a high level of customer service at all times Basic Router & Switch Admin Hands on technical experience around escalations and support Manage service and incident processes (including incident management) Managing client relationships So…. if you are looking to further your career within an ever-growing IT Service Provider then get in touch or follow us on Linkedin for the latest opportunities.
