An exciting opportunity to join a market leading financial company - £22,000 Benefits IT Helpdesk Support Reading, Berkshire £22,000 Benefits Your new company Hays are representing a multi-award winning financial tech start-up who are undertaking dramatic growth following large investment. They now seek an experienced Service Desk Technician to provide a high standard of technical service and first line investigation and diagnosis to a fast working team. Your new role You'll join a high performing technical team and grow your own hands-on ability through on-the-job training and shadowing more experienced team members. You will have the autonomy to support the diverse user base, providing technical support and offering advice on systems and services. You will have the opportunity to improve and expand on the company's systems and procedures through personal contribution and collaboration. What you'll need to succeed You'll use your outstanding communication and customer service skills daily as you support a diverse and growing user base. Previous experience in a service desk or first line support role will be helpful in responsibilities. Experience and understanding of technologies such as Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP will be used daily whilst you learn to improve your knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and Windows Server.
