Overview

Senior Civil Engineer job to join multi-national firm in centre of Edinburgh. Your new company Are a multi-discipline, multi-national consultancy firm who have a well known brand in the UK engineering sector and who have growth plans in place for their civil & structural team making this a key hire to augment the civils team. Your new role You will join a small team, offering you the opportunity to lead the civils team in the short-medium term whilst being managed by the C&S Associate Director. You don't need to be an experienced senior level Engineer to consider this - given the current management structure - but it will create an autonomous civils lead role with time, and you will be tasked with hiring into that team. Project wise you will work on a mix of public and private sector roads and drainage infrastructure design delivery for a variety of construction sites. What you'll need to succeed You will require a relevant civil engineering degree, furthered by experienced of civil design in a consultancy environment. You will need an expertise in complex drainage and road design and ideally this will have involved in the use of Microdrainage / WinDes / AutoCAD. This will also require a driven individual who wants to take on responsibility for the early stages of growth of a civils team and can deliver civils design in an autonomous role in the beginning.
