Leading Construction Consultancy requires Senior Cost Manager to join their business in Edinburgh. Associate Cost Manager Global Construction Consultancy seeking Senior Cost Management Professional to join their business. Your new company Our client are a leading consultancy with a global footprint across multiple markets. They work on projects which truly define the urban landscape and can offer sustainable long term careers to their construction professionals. With a multi- disciplinary team based in Edinburgh they are seeking to add a Senior Cost Manager to their ranks. Your new role As Senior Cost Manager you will be a senior member of their cost management team based in Edinburgh. Working from beautiful modern offices in Central Edinburgh and reporting to the local Director you will be part of a team which work on interesting complex projects. As Senior Cost Manager you will be directly responsible for the commercial delivery of a complex interesting building project within the Scottish construction landscape. This will involve commercially managing a project all the way from inception to final handover ensuring your clients commercial interest is always protected and enhanced. From procuring and managing the tender process for design and construction to managing ongoing contractual issues you will play a key role in the delivery of this project while ensuring your client gets a competitive outcome. As Senior Cost Manager you will also be responsible for developing further fee opportunities, developing commercial opportunities and enhancing our client's brand in the local market. What you'll need to succeed Our client are seeking an exceptional construction expert with well developed commercial expertise and knowledge. You will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline ( quantity surveying) and be fully chartered. The ideal candidate will have experience of leading small commercial teams within a tier 1 consultancy environment but is seeking a new opportunity. Project experience within public sector frameworks would be well regarded.
