Overview
Finance Director | Hospitality Scaleup | London Harmonic are privileged to work with of Europe's fasted growing hospitality business on an exclusive basis for a role based in Central London. Led by a seasoned international entrepreneur and having secured multi-million-pound investment the business is currently looking to expand their portfolio across Europe. Their development plan is to grow the real estate development across the region over the next coming years and this position will be instrumental to that success. Company Culture The business is based in a trendy London co-working space and the environment is still that of a start-up despite having developed a successful European portfolio and established their brand. The business and its team are very dynamic and extremely driven to ensure that the brand emerges as a market leader and begins to take on a dominant market share. The Role: The business is supported with an outsourced transactional finance function which will allow this position to be very commercial and strategic. The company are very growth driven so you will need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and have extensive skills in stakeholder engagement and management. As the business growth, a passion for process improvement and integration would be extremely valuable skills. Ownership of the monthly management accounts Control of the Balance Sheet and P&L accounts Production of monthly budgeting and forecasting Quarterly reporting for current investors with the potential to also business partner into a dedicated external investor official in-time Incorporate an environment where budgets holders are aware of their respective budget and short/long term forecasting Cost analysis and commercial product modelling Tailor financial processes in time with company growth and expand dedicated finance function As the company have a broad portfolio you will be part of a multi-site and multi-currency operation. Essential skills & Experience: A background in a hospitality, leisure or tourism. Experience in scaling businesses Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Strong technical accounting background What we'd like to see (Non-Essential): A role as FC or FD in a business that has undertaken a successful 'buy and build' strategy successfully. VC or PE experience. Salary : 135-155k Bonus Interview process: Interview with Harmonic, followed by meeting with Director face-to-face.
