This role reports to Group Head of Corporate Services • The purpose of this role is to lead and develop a team providing corporate administration, secretarial, bookkeeping and accounting services to diverse corporate and institutionally owned multi-jurisdictional structures, consisting of companies, limited partnerships and other vehicles. • The candidate will act as a director or alternate director for client companies administered by • Corporate Services in accordance with the relevant legislation and regulations. • As a senior member of the Corporate Services team, the Associate Director will support the Group • Head of Corporate Services to deliver the jurisdictional business plan and meet financial targets. Key Responsibilities of the role: • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of corporate clients ensuring a high level of client satisfaction • Fiduciary Duties: Act as director or alternate director of client companies administered by Corporate Services • Team Management: Manage the performance of the corporate service team to deliver agreed business plan and targets • Business Development: Support the business development programme by proactively developing client relationships, contributing to cross-selling opportunities and participating in new client proposals and pitches • Financials and strategic KPIs: Oversee financial performance of client portfolio and drive profitability Position Summary: Relationship management: • Maintain and build client relationships and ensure the delivery of client service meets agreed service levels • Develop and enhance relationships with client advisers, intermediaries and other introducers of work • Work closely with other Client Relationship Managers across the wider group to strengthen cross jurisdictional relationships with colleagues and mutual clients • Act as director or alternate director of client companies administered by Corporate Services Performance management: • Manage the performance of a team ensuring reporting deadlines are met, with oversight on planning, scheduling, and monitoring of workloads • Actively manage the performance management and development of all team members, including acting as a mentor to your direct reporting lines • Ensure all members of the Corporate Services team receive appropriate training and development in order to nurture their potential and progress as individuals within the business • Demonstrate effective communication within the team, providing regular reporting and feedback, so that all targets are met. Act as a matter expert providing technical guidance when required • Deliver effective leadership in accordance with the company’s values Operational responsibility: • Act as highest authority on day-to-day queries and as a 4-eyes signatory on service delivery • Ensure company compliance, risk management and procedural policies are always adhered to • Work closely with support teams to ensure systems and operations are developed to support the services provided by the Corporate Services team, acting as an active sponsor where required and deploying resources on key initiatives to ensure success • Contribute towards the business-as-a-whole, for instance, in identifying improvements in policies and procedures that apply across the business and ensuring appropriate information and best practice is shared between designated client services teams Business development: • Work in conjunction with the central business development team and Group Head of Corporate Services, to deliver the business development strategy that fits in with the strategic aims of the Group and grows the business in the UK through locally developed leads as well as cross-selling to existing Group clients • Lead and/or participate in new client proposals and pitches as necessary and manage the integration of new clients • Support and, where appropriate, work alongside those with operational responsibility for alternative offerings in the UK, such as fund services and advanced portfolio services in order to execute the business development strategy for those products · The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA or ICSA qualified, with experience in a similar role and a strong, relevant professional network · You must possess sound technical knowledge and understanding of the fiduciary products provided by the business’ Corporate Services • Computer literacy and word processing skills are essential, including advanced proficiency in accounting tools, such as Microsoft Excel • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts • Team leadership skills • Effective communicator • Solution-orientated critical thinking • High level of integrity and dependability • High level of written and oral communication skills • Ability to inspire and develop others Chilworth Partnership Ltd is a Recruitment Agency.
