Homeless Prevention Officer - Oldbury - £12.60 per hour - Temporary - Full Time Your new company We are currently working exclusively with a local authority to recruit a temporary member of staff to work within their homeless prevention team. The local authority are responsible in reducing homeless within the region that the council are responsible for. Your new role Your role as a Homeless Prevention Officer is to provide and effective and professional person centred approach to prevention and relief of homelessness. To undertake a holistic approach to casework including the assessment and investigation of homelessness in line with the council's statutory duties. What you'll need to succeed To be the successful application for the role of a Homeless Prevention Officer, you will have prior experience of working across the solutions team using different initiatives around preventing homelessness and ultimately the reduction also. You will also have past experience of assisting with housing options within the private rented sector and undertaking holistic assessment of of the clients needs and referring appropriately. What you'll get in return This role pays a basic of £12.60 per hour and offers a full time contract over a course of a minimum of 3 months. Mileage will also be paid out to yourself with a Car Driver being required for the role.
