Are you passionate about making a lasting difference to the lives of vulnerable adults? About the role We are looking for a committed Coordinator to join the team on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2021. The Bournemouth Housing First service aims to support clients with multiple needs by sourcing independent tenancies and providing intensive support to, by adopting a flexible, creative and personalised approach, the service aims to support individuals to manage their tenancies in the community and rebuild their lives. In the role of Housing First Coordinator you will: * Work closely with the Service Manager to develop; and ensure the effective day to day running of the service. * Line manage and provide essential support and supervision to a team of Housing First Workers, to ensure they can provide a consistent and person centred service to clients. * Build and maintain strong relationships and work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. What we're looking for This role will suit someone who is passionate; and committed to the overall aims and objectives of the Housing First service with: * Experience of working with vulnerable people with complex needs and supporting a service delivery team. * Experience of motivating and empowering staff and/or volunteers to take responsibility for delivering a high quality service to a vulnerable client group. * The ability to work in a multiagency team and build positive relationships with a wide range of people. * Knowledge and understanding of the housing and support needs of homeless people, and the ability to manage complex and difficult situations in relation to people. * Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise your own time and workload to meet a number of different and competing tasks in a sometimes pressurised environment. We run a cycle to work scheme and also offer season tickets loans to all staff. St Mungo's contribute 4% of your gross annual salary, and you are able to enrol in the Defined Contribution scheme following a successful probationary period in which the employer contribution is 6%. For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.
