Overview
My client are a global Communications agency based in West end of London and seeking a Finance Manager for a 12 month Maternity cover. They are associated with some amazing clients and well-known brands and this is an opportunity not to miss out on. The role works in a team of 5, reporting into the FC and has 3 direct reports. The role is an all rounded position and responsibilities include preparations of month end for FD sign off, preparing P&L as well as ensuring day to day functions such as AP/AR/Payroll are monitored and maintained. You will need to adhere to SOX compliance regulations as well as tight deadlines as my client are part of a listed parent company where you will work in a pressure orientated environment. Alongside this you will also support with any ad-hoc projects as they arise and look to improve processes and procedures where necessary. The perfect candidate will have had at least one years’ experience in a similar role, however managerial experience is advantageous as long as you have demonstrated production of management accounts. It will be advantageous if you have had experience working to SOX and in a group structure as well as solid month end experience. The right fit for this role will be a confident and outgoing individual that can mix with a social finance team. This role is a maternity cover where the current incumbent will be due to leave end of May/June so therefore the candidate will need to be able to start mid-May at the latest.
