Overview
If you have experience working in a number 2 role but can't see any further opportunity to progress, this is an excellent role that will give you the opportunity to start progressing to Compliance Director from day one. Synchronicity Group are working with a world leading real estate and investment firm who have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Compliance Manager/Deputy to join their team in a role which is succession planning to take over as Compliance Director in the next few years. You will have excellent Compliance experience (10 years) gained within an asset management or direct real estate environment. Some FCA and Real Estate exposure is essential as well as experience of managing people. This role will transition gradually into the Compliance Director role, so from day one you will be undertaking certain responsibilities alongside the current Director, taking on more and more of the role over the next few years so that ultimately the transition is seamless. Personality and communication skills are key for this company - it's fast paced and highly commercial, with an open door policy and both regulated and non-regulated enquiries passing through the Compliance team constantly. The Director takes a hands-on approach to all Compliance requirements, from policies and frameworks through to complaints handling, supported by a team of 5.
