We are currently looking for a Network Efficiency Engineer to join our team in Shoreditch. The Role As a Network Efficiency Engineer, you will consolidate the optimisation of legacy networking topologies and connections. Reporting to the Network Planning Manager, your role will involve: - Identifying optimisation efficiencies in line with yearly strategies and targets - Ensuring cost savings are maximised - Managing co-operation between departments to validate data and actions About You To join us as a Network Efficiency Engineer, you will need: - At least five years’ experience within the telecommunications industry, ideally with a service provider - Solid engineering skills with proven track record of success - An in-depth understanding of cabling in data and/or colocation centres - An in-depth understanding of the impact to customer services during migrations - A fantastic track record of planning migrations on various networks, including packet and optical - A methodical approach and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time effectively - Excellent optical, OTN and SDH networking skills - The ability to use MS Office 365 and Microsoft Teams Ideally, you will have experience of working as a field or network engineer, but this is not essential. Other organisations may call this role Network Engineer, Network Development Engineer, Network Developer, Telecoms Engineer, Network Support Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer, Telecoms Support Engineer, or Network Project Engineer.
