Role: Supply Chain Manager Salary: £80,000 Location: East Midlands Type: 12 Month FTC Overview 2Fawcett are recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager to join a company located in East Midlands on a 12 Month FTC Basis. The company are very well known in their industry, have a great working environment along with a personable and vibrant workforce. An opportunity to implement and drive Supply Chain strategies & logistics of a high spend. You will develop and maintain contingency plans. You will lead your team and manage relationships. This is a 12 Month FTC vacancy available to start in April 2020. The ideal candidate will have a vast amount of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Purchasing along with S&OP. The Role & Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager - Implement and drive supply chain strategies - Develop and maintain supply contingency plans - Financial Analysis- organising financial data to support the business decision making - Sales and Operation Planning to multiple sites - Risk and Opportunity Management where you will identify and document risk - Lead the reporting of cost saving programmes - Ensure effective change control - Be responsible for leading and supporting business change projects - Develop, own and lead strategies - Manage supplier relationships - Lead the S&OP process Requirements of the Supply Chain Manager - Ideally have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in Supply Chain, specifically in a Manufacturing or Engineering type function. - Have a determined and positive outlook - Proven ability to lead organisational change in the Supply Chain - Be able to drive change projects - Deal with rapidly changing demands - Able to interface with a variety of stakeholders - Proven experience in recruiting individuals with talent - Purchasing OR Supply Chain Certifications - CIPS - Competent negotiation skills - Be strategic thinking Type 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Working Hours Monday - Friday - Full Time
