Overview
Alexander Steele are delighted to have been engaged with supporting a highly established food manufacturing business in Nottinghamshire in securing a Supply Chain Analyst . Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the successful incumbent will o wn the supply chain process from supplier forecast to delivery to UK warehouse. They will liaise with Customer Service, and Production so that internal and external customers are appropriately informed about expected deliveries The Role Ensure that Customer Service Managers are aware of sku level availability. Ensure that Import Administrators are aware of PO’s and have prioritised containers appropriately. Be valued as an integral part of the Goods In and Production scheduling team. Understand Operational constraints and available resource. Liaise with Goods In to ensure UK and Europe deliveries are phased appropriately Liaise with Production scheduling to ensure raw material availability is phased appropriately Measure and present performance against Availability KPIs Measure and present performance against Inventory KPIs Report weekly on the rolling schedule of expected inbound deliveries to UK warehouses Track deliveries and measure supplier performance against forecasts Essential requirements Minimum of 2 Years experience in a supply chain or import environment Supply Chain Analyst experience Demonstrable experience working with internal customers Proven experience of supply chain analysis and the import process Good at building departmental relationships Excellent excel skills Strong administration skills Create easily understood reports Please feel free to get in touch regarding more details on the business and the opportunity.
