Overview
A leading FMCG business in Nottingham is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Analyst to plan and forecast demand to ensure optimum product availability in line with customer requirements. This is an exciting and challenging position, and the job holder will continue to be challenged with an evolving role as the business continues grow and diversify. About the role Reporting to the Head of Procurement, this will be a high-profile role where you will be responsible for the planning and forecasting of stock inventory levels via the analysis of historical sales data, taking into account seasonality and promotional plans. You will ensure stock levels are maintained at their optimum levels and you will work closely with the Purchasing, Customer Services and Goods In teams to continually monitor customer demand. About the Person To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience in a supply chain environment within the FMCG or retail industry. You will have a proven track record of success in supply chain analysis and ideally have a sound understanding of the import process. Furthermore, you will be good at building inter-departmental relationships and have the ability to influence at all levels. This will be underpinned by your strong excel skills and your excellent organisational and planning ability.
