Overview

An amazing opportunity has come up for a skilled and passionate Events and Marketing Assistant with a fantastic charity in Leeds LS28, The hours are flexible and part time (21 hours). Pay rate is paying up to £21,000 annually. The role is for a 6 month fixed term contract. Duties include: To assist in creating and administering a marketing strategy and implementation plan. Develop an optimal posting schedule to support marketing, events and training communications. To organise the marketing, events and training promotional activities, including the coordination and distribution of the Leeds Newsletter and e-newsletter. To create/ reproduce flyers, and other printed and online materials. Coordinate and assist with the planning of events, including attendees, and to attend where required to support the events on the day. Support in developing original text, image and video content, and design engaging posts to promote Leeds through its Social Media platform, and post on the company’s website to increase web traffic, customer and supportive engagement including donations. Regularly monitor SEO and Google Analytics. Work with the staff teams to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way, in accordance with Leeds policy. Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries. Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and other online visitors, including automating surveys. To source and collate a range of training and development activities for PA employers and PAs, under direction from the Service Development Manager. To coordinate learning and development opportunities for individual employers and PAs, including face to face training in the home, training activities at accessible venues and e-learning / distance learning. To liaise with training providers and other event providers, book people on courses and carry out any administration tasks associated with this, including record keeping. To ensure all Health & Safety and requirements are met when training and development activities are set up and booked. To maintain up to date, effective and accessible records in line with Leeds internal recording systems and confidentiality and data protection requirements. To assist the Service Development Manager to monitor, evaluate and collate quantitative & qualitative feedback from individual employers and personal assistants, as a result of them and their PAs talking part in events and service provision such as training and development activities. To communicate to the HR Administrator training information and requests relevant to staff. To use a Social Model of Disability approach in all work, ensuring choice and control for customers and identifying and removing barriers to accessing training and development activities. To work within the Vision, Mission and Code of Practice in line with all policies and procedures in the staff handbook. To participate in training and development activities as necessary to ensure up to date knowledge, skills and continuous development. Completion of daily administrative tasks relative to the role. To undertake any other duties so directed by the Service Development Manager, Office Manager and the Chief Executive Officer within the scope of this post. If you are interested please click APPLY
