Overview

Futures is a busy and growing recruitment agency that offers interim and permanent recruitment solutions across the public and private sectors. Due to continued growth we are seeking a bright, enthusiastic Payroll Administrator to work in our busy Finance Department. The role will be to ensure payroll is accurately completed in a timely fashion each week. The role involves collating, matching and inputting timesheets in order to pay our interim consultants. Applicants will liaise via telephone and email with clients, interims and staff to ensure timely submission. You will be using various programs and systems, including Sage 50, to ensure payroll is completed. This particular part of the role is very structured with exacting procedures and firm deadlines to adhere to. Responsibilities of Payroll Administrator: Processing weekly payroll Arranging and making weekly Bacs payments Matching payments against invoices/orders and allocating cash accordingly Maintaining accounts and resolving queries on the Sage Line 50 accounts system Inputting time sheets Purchase/Sales Ledger Completing bank reconciliations Use of 3rd party self-billing systems Assist other finance functions as required Experience required for Payroll Administrator: Experience of running Payroll Experience of Sage 50 Payroll Excellent time management Enthusiastic Willingness to learn new skills and take on challenges Keen interest in accounts and administration Attention to detail Candidates should be confident individuals who are willing and able to learn new skills and adapt as necessary to meet the needs of this varied role. High attention to detail, good organisational skills and a structured approach to your work. There will be a high degree of interaction internally and externally so customer service is of paramount importance.
