Overview
Do you want to work for a progressive and innovative manufacturing company in a great location? Are you currently working as a Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Leader / Maintenance Manager? Do you have a strong engineering background including CNC Machining? Are you familiar with working with a CMMS? Our client is looking for a maintenance professional to join their site and provide effective supervision of their small maintenance team, to ensure work is carried out to the highest levels and with the best interest of their staff, customers and the business. We are looking for people to be proactive in the following areas: Supervision of Maintenance Engineers Responsible for maintenance activities on site through effective planned/preventive maintenance routines and timely response to unplanned breakdowns Support overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) by proactively working to improve plant reliability and availability Manage the computerised preventive maintenance system Manage and control the procurement and inventory of maintenance spares, parts and equipment Manage and control the procurement of specialist maintenance services Ensure that all statutory fixed-interval maintenance and inspection requirements are carried out We are looking to speak with candidates that have the following experience: Mechanical or Electrical Engineer qualified to HNC / HND level Ideally with supervisory experience gained within a CNC production environment High level of safety awareness and a good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act and other attendant regulations Understanding and experience of PLC's and pneumatics is highly desirable Good communication skills - both written and verbal Good problem-solving skills, able to diagnose and correct faults No shifts, just a straight days role.
