Overview
This exciting media business with a strong presence within the gaming industry are now looking for a Financial Controller to lead their finance function. PE-backed and led by exceptionally talented and highly experienced well-known names in the market, now is a good time to join as they look to expand the business and invest further, following off the back of some successful titles over the past couple of years. Your duties will include: Managing the finance team Providing key insight and information to aid solid business decisions and support company strategy Managing and improving management information as well as enhancing and setting KPI’s Overall responsibility for the preparation of management accounts, budgeting and forecasting Analysing and commenting on variances across budgets, forecasts and actuals Working with senior management team on strategy and review Managing the external reporting processes This role would suit a Qualified Accountant that can happily build relationships across the business, can collaborate across departments but also challenge where necessary. A balance of technical expertise as well as natural commercial acumen is needed, given the pivotal role you will play in the organisation.
