Job Description Place Senior Change & Delivery Officer (Cognos Data Analyst) - Fixed term until 30/06/2022 Waverley Court Salary: £36,499 - £43,619 Hour: 36 per week An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Change & Deliver Officer (Cognos Data Analyst) to be part of the City of Edinburgh Council's Change & Delivery Team. Working at the very heart of the Council, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in shaping the development of the Council's Enterprise Business Intelligence Solution and data analytics capabilities. Working closely with the team, ICT Partners and key stakeholders across the Council you will play a lead role in the development of the Council's Data Warehouse and Cognos Business Intelligence technology. A key outcome of the project will be to develop a data driven culture in the Council where information is valued, actionable and used to make effective business decisions and service improvements. The successful candidate will have significant expertise and skills in data analytics and developing highly visual and insightful dashboards and reports in Cognos. We are looking for a proactive self-assured individual who has a passion for BI excellence and the creativity to tell compelling stories through data. Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals. The advertised salary will increase by 3% on 1st April 2020.
