The Role The role is looking for elite senior software engineers, highly skilled in one of Python or JavaScript, with a strong background in big data environments. You should have an experience across Python and JavaScript technologies, with a deep expertise in a specialist area to bring into the team. The Client My client is a UK leading Agrifood analytics company, with offices in Harpenden and Reading, seeking to empower the UK Agrifood industry through the power of big data and advanced analytics. You will be working with complex data to provide front/back end technical solutions to solve issues within the sector. Essential Skills Specialist skills in front or back end using JavaScript OR Python Must be well versed in Agile best practices in a Linux environment API microservices experience in HTTP or GraphQL Azure or AWS Cloud services Must have come from a big data/ data heavy environment Desired Skills Front End developers: strong skills in React, Angular or Vue Back End developers: Python from a data-centric environment Knowledge engineer: semantic web and liked data concepts CI/CD experience in Kubernetes or Docker To be consider for the position please click the apply button now
