Overview

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you The Challenge The aim of this role is to assist the Finance Manager in the smooth running of the Finance function, from raw transactions through to Management Accounts, and then on to Statutory Accounts. Duties include; Maintain cashbooks for bank accounts and reconcile to the nominal ledger. Bank reconciliations. Prepare and post monthly nominal ledger journals. Prepare monthly reconciliations and analysis of Balance Sheet accounts for review. Reconciliation of accrual accounts. Monthly reconciliation of trial balance and reporting differences. Maintain fixed assets register. Prepare VAT returns for review. Assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day issues, including investigating anomalies arisen following analysis. Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts. The Business This Owner-Managed business is transforming it's finance function in order to grow the company to the next level. What are we looking for in you? Would suit an AAT studier, or early stage ACCA or CIMA studier. A competent level of IT skills is required, including solid experience of Excel and some bookkeeping skills. Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
