Scientist – Vaccine Formulation Full-time, Permanent Salary DOE South Oxfordshire Role and Responsibilities Delivering technically challenging projects and undertaking laboratory management tasks for a pharmaceutical, clinical stage company. The scientist role specialises in solid vaccine formulation development to support their drug-device combination vaccine products. You will assist in the development of project protocols and perform formulation and process development experiments for investigative work. You will follow procedures and protocols and generate accurate reports on work performed, as well as outline plans for future work. About You Research orientated scientist, proactive and tenacious. Demonstrates initiative in idea generation and experimental design. Shows great attention to detail and follows procedures. Organised with the ability to prioritise and good time management. Essential: MSc and/or PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, drug delivery, biomedical sciences or a related formulation-based discipline. Scientific knowledge of vaccine handling and formulation development. Laboratory experience working with vaccines to high standards. Desirable: Expertise in vaccine analytical testing equipment and techniques. Practical experience with lyophilisation.
