A start up Biotechnology Company is looking for an experienced Principal Scientist, with a passion for Drug Discovery, to join their rapidly growing and incredibly exciting scientific team in Oxfordshire. The Company They are working on a novel technology, which I looking to develop and discover more drugs more effectively. They are looking for someone who specialises in Drug Discovery and Bioinformatics to really bring expertise to the team and support the cutting-edge network biology and AI-driven drug discovery platform. Principal Scientist Role: This exciting opportunity needs someone who is happy to address complex biological questions to tackle areas of unmet medical need and taking a lead role in delivering exciting collaborative discovery programmes. Reporting the Head of department, you have a vital role in the development of the company and future projects. Principal Scientist Requirements: Ph.D. in Biology or relevant field Experienced cellular/molecular biologist with a track record in target identification and drug discovery Experience with Bioinformatics and having worked with the latest computational and data driven approaches In return, you will receive a salary of between £60,000 - £70,000, excellent benefits package and ongoing career development.
