Guys, there's a Tsunami of Java Dev roles out there (see what I did there? Managed to get the latest ‘buzzword’ into the first sentence) – but there is a serious lack of Java Devs Everyone seems happy to surf their own Dev Wave and doesn’t want to dabble [paddle?] in new territory. Recruiters are going nuts trying to attract you to come surf at new shores, promising you the world, clogging up your inbox, spamming your phone – but you're pretty happy where you are, they have toilet roll and never-ending coffee. So, I'm not going to promise you anything shiny, nor am I going to tell you that you should totally drop what you’re doing to come to join this crew instead. But what I am going to say is, this isn’t a role for the mediocre, this is not your typical role amongst the sea of Java Dev roles out there. This is only for those who are at the top of their game and they know it What’s the deal? Bring your ‘A’ game, because this is the biggest project in this company’s history. You’re at the medal earning point in your career, you've got the skills and the experience, but now you want to really achieve something meaty, a badge of honour that you can be proud of. Armed with everything in your very experienced repertoire you’re going to be recreating a major platform service alongside the Lead Architect. You’ll be reporting directly to the top, so no need to get bogged down in bureaucratic middle management to slow down the project of this giant brand. The only catch is: You 100% have to be a big-time technical cheese, big in the game, local legend, an expert in Java (or Python, C++, Scala etc) and AWS (or other cloud providers). In return, they’re providing a package of up to £75k 15% bonus.
