This is an exciting position within a new team that will be developing a wide array of content and experiences within of Avakin life. The position is very much hands on and a fantastic opportunity to be truly creative in a virtual social world. Responsibilities * Work closely with designers, art directors, programmers and producers to deliver new and exciting in game experiences; * Develop and maintain Avakin Lifes artistic style and visual quality; * Helping to manage fixes for Art related bugs within the team; * Communicating work requirements across multiple teams and studios; * Lead by example ,inspire and help build the art team. Requirements Essential * Advanced knowledge of at least one major 3D package and renderer such as Maya, Modo or 3DS Max; * A good understanding of mobiles game development; * Ability to model and texture efficient low-poly models of all types; * Ability to work in 3D to a established art style; * Experience using Unity 3D a must; * Excellent texturing skills with a focus on memory targets; * Excellent lighting in 3D application and game engines skills; * 3-5 years Mobile platform experience. Desirable * Game Level design; * UI/UX experience; * Knowledge of scripting; * Character modelling or animation; * Audio or Video production EG after effects, cubase; * Offline Production rendering such as Vray.
