IT User Support Engineer Northallerton Rate £17.80 per hour PAYE / £22 Umbrella 6 Month Contract INSIDE IR35 An IT User Support Engineer is required on a 6 month contract to start ASAP for a large organisation based in Northallerton. This role is based in the centre of Northallerton which sits in the beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for completing many duties including providing technical advice on new developments with IT software, manage the implementation of new and replaced software, support the configuration of server installations and provide technical support to end users in a service desk environment. This will include both 1st and 2nd line support. The Skills You will have experience in using Microsoft desktop technologies as well as a strong understanding and experience of working with Exchange 2010/SQL 2005. You will have proven experience of working with Windows 2003 through to 2012 Servers and can demonstrate knowledge of Group Policy including analysis, reporting and best practice to improve this function. You will be experienced in carrying out BAU functions on the servers including monitoring the scheduled backups and provide best practice solutions to remedy/improve these. You will be knowledgeable of SQL and be able to provide relevant analysis on this. Excellent communication skills are a must along with strong interpersonal skills.
