Overview
Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a rapid growth tech business who have a truly global presence in their search for a Financial Controller. This Financial Controller position is a 9 month cover and ideally looking to get someone started in May. As the Financial Controller, this position is responsible for a range of duties including management reporting, statutory compliance, and ensuring the smooth running of day to day financial operations. This position will report into the EMEAFD with plenty of direct interaction with the CFO & US finance teams. Main responsibilities: Oversee and manage the preparation of management accounts in accordance with US GAAP Review P&L variance analysis and provide commentary for senior leadership Manage a team of Financial Accountants, all qualified Review cashflow forecasting on a monthly and quarterly basis Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliation process is completed Oversee the Payroll & Accounts Payable functions Take ownership and oversee the preparation of financial statements under IFRS Support the business with any technical accounting and compliance issues surround SarbanesOxley Ad Hoc Responsibilities & projects Ideal Candidate: Fully Qualified Accountant Excellent IFRS, US GAAP & SOX knowledge Prior experience within a fast growth environment Brilliant communication skills and ability to interact with C-suite Prior management experience Ideally experience within fintech
