Overview
Clinical Lead – RMN / RNLD Qualified Adult Learning Disabilities Nursing Service £37,000 LD allowance worth (£1,200) Workington Overview Compass Associates is working with a growing national provider for specialist care who has recently expanded in the Cumbria region, we are currently looking for a Clinical Lead to join their clinical management team in the Workington area. You will be working directly with the Home Manager and be responsible for an acquired small sized home specialising in Learning Disabilities and Autism. You will be joining an established local team who has worked together in making the site a home for their much-loved service users. As the Clinical Lead, you will provide tangible leadership and effective shift management to the nursing team. It is currently rated as an overall ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission – but they are looking for a superstar who can inspire current staff to take this to the ‘Outstanding’ level. Location The post is in the tranquil settings of the Workington region and is commutable from Carlisle, Dumfries, Lockerbie, Penrith and the Lake District area. Shift Pattern 40 hours per week, mixture of days, nights and weekends (3 days then 4 days per week rotational rota) Requirements - RMN / RNLD qualified, valid NMC pin - Recognised Mentorship certification / NVQ Assessor Qualification desirable but not essential - Ample number of years working in a Learning Disability or Mental Health setting - Experience in supervising and creating upskilling junior staff (Nurses and HCAs) - Passionate about patient centred care Salary and Benefits The salary for the position is £37k per annum a Learning Disability caring bonus worth £1,200.
