Working closely with a highly engaging CFO, this role will suit an experienced, commercially astute, qualified finance professional who has strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders as well as having a 'hands-on’ mentality. This organisation have a wealth of experience within their senior leadership team. At the same time, they have a huge impact on the lives and well-being of the community and are driven by making a positive impact. If you share a commercial drive and want to see tangible, life-changing results from your work, read on You will be heavily involved in all financial areas, turning strategic plans into operational reality and you will work closely with the CFO to drive process improvements and track improved financial performance. You will also need to take responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting at a senior level, preparation of company accounts for board approval, managing the department’s financial I.T. requirements and ensuring the overall compliance with best practice/regulatory requirements. Given the level of this post, you will take a lead role in supporting the creation of a high-performance culture and will have a 'business partnering’ approach to non-finance departments and stakeholders. You will also need strong financial systems experience and advanced Excel knowledge.
