Overview

We are inviting Applications for Finance Analyst for an International Bank based in City of London. This is a permanent position and reporting directly to the Bank CFO. Essential knowledge, skills and experience requirement: Previous experience in the banking sector Strong academic background In-depth knowledge of MS Excel (especially PIVOT tables, VLOOKUP) Working knowledge of IFRS Ability to communicate concisely and efficiently and manage conflicting demands appropriately Desirable knowledge, skills and experience requirement: Working knowledge of current regulatory reporting requirements (CRR, CRD IV) A degree in Accounting and Finance A candidate studying towards becoming a qualified accountant Responsibilities may include: Monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS Balance Sheet and related work Monthly, quarterly and annual Indian GAAP Balance Sheet and related work Work on segment reporting; provisions and contingencies and other monthly/quarterly/annual returns for the purpose of consolidated group balance sheet; monitoring and analysis of income and expenditure accounts Assist in the preparations of Annual accounts of the Bank, related notes and disclosures Work on External Audits - statutory audit and CASS audit Respond to queries pertaining to above returns by the regulators/ auditors/skilled persons Will report to 'Head of Finance & Regulatory Reporting' Keeping track of changes in IFRS/IAS/Indian GAAP guidelines, regulatory disclosure guidelines and being aware of all the Bank's policies, procedures and other guidelines
