Atlas FM is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to oversee the Head Office Finance team. The role will initially be based in our Hanworth office prior to an office move to our new Head offices in Hampton Hill in July 2020. Atlas FM Summary Atlas FM is a well-established, privately owned, £120m turnover business delivering Facilities Management services (mostly cleaning and security) to c. 3,000 clients across the UK. Role Summary Reporting directly into the Group Finance Director, the Finance Manager will manage the Head Office Finance Team including Payroll, Invoicing, Accounts Payable and Accounting. With over 8,000 employees and 3,500 sales ledger invoices per month, the role would suit someone who has previously worked in a high volume or FM environment. Core Duties/Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Direct management of the Head Office Finance Team including Payroll, Invoicing, Accounts Payable and Accounting Training and development of individuals to ensure they have the necessary skills to achieve their role accountabilities Responsibility for the timely and accurate raising of sales invoices Responsibility for payroll processing & year-end returns Responsibility for the timely and accurate processing and payment of supplier invoices Preparation & submission of VAT, Intrastat & HMRC returns Ensuring that robust financial controls are in place and are being adhered to Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts Assist in the integration of acquired companies onto the business processes and systems Responsibility for management of the year-end audit process and statutory accounts preparation Ensuring the finance team build robust & collaborative relationships across the business Skills, Capabilities and Attributes The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following experience, skills, behaviours necessary to meet the requirements of the role: Proven ability of managing Finance Teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities whilst keeping to tight deadlines Excellent attention to detail Experience of using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced level) Ability to communicate at all levels including the Senior Management team Supportive and creative solution provider, with the ability to think outside the box Hours of work 9.00am to 5.30pm Mon - Fri Salary £55k to £60k per annum depending on competence and experience.
