Workshop Supervisor - Police Vehicle Workshop ST Ives Cambridgeshire Contract Position - 6 Months Initially £16 - £18 per hour This is an interim position for a workshop manager for the Police Vehicle workshop near ST Ives in Cambridgeshire. The role would suit an experienced automotive professional with a strong background in managing teams of vehicle technicians in a busy workshop environment. You will have a good understanding of relevant I.T systems along with relevant health and safety legislation. Skills and Experience Minimum NVQ Level 3 motor vehicle technician or equivalent. Relevant industry qualification eg Proven management experience within a busy vehicle workshop environment Experience of using relevant databases e.g VOSA, peoplesoft, Tracker etc Good Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements Proven post training technical experience to service manager level. Computer literacy in Microsoft & fleet software. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
