Overview
Support Worker - mental health and homelessness, Bristol, £10 per hour. Opportunity for ad-hoc and full time Your new company You will be working for one of Bristol's biggest providers of support services. They work with vulnerable people that are living with mental support needs and may be at risk of homelessness or have found themselves homeless. Your new role You will be providing high quality practical and emotional support to service users. You will be signposting to agencies and community support groups; building good relationships; carrying out risk assessments and writing support plans to empower the service users and encourage a positive outcome. You will be providing 1-1 support, delivering group activities, and providing drop in sessions. What you'll need to succeed You will have good knowledge of safeguarding, housing management and supporting mental health. You will be empathetic, well organised, have good communication skills and be a good team player.
