Outsourcing Accountant / Accounts Senior - SUPERB ROLE (AAT Qualified or ACCA Part-Qualified) McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a fast growing Top100 UK Accountancy Practice who are looking to strengthen their Client Outsourcing team and recruit aPractice Bookkeeper. The firm has an enviable reputation across the Midlands, Thames Valley & London providing a range of Audit, Tax & Accounting services to wealthy individuals, family estates, OMBs and private PLCs. Reporting to the Outsourcing Manager, you will be responsible for: Building productive working relationships within the Practice and externally with Clients Using a variety of accounting software packages including CCH, Sage and Xero Preparing management accounts and completing VAT returns Processing sales and purchase invoices, receipts & payments Preparing opening balance journals Reconciliations Developing and applying your technical knowledge through on the job training To be considered for the role you should be AAT Qualified or ACCA Part-Qualified with at least 3 year’s experience with another Accounting Firm or Specialist Outsourcing Provider. On offer is a salary of £25,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) with benefits to include 22 days holiday, company pension and healthcare schemes, and AAT study support if applicable. You should be a confident self-starter with good interpersonal skills, be able to prioritise and meet tight timeframes with high quality output; and a working knowledge of Xero would be advantageous.
