Overview
AJ Chambers are currently recruiting for a Junior AND a Senior Accounts and Outsourcing role with a top 100 firm. Our client offers full study support so this exciting opportunity would be perfect for someone who is studying for their AAT or is part qualified at ACCA level. This friendly and supportive team will assist you in progressing your career within the firm. What our client can offer the successful candidates: Exposure to a wide range of clients across many industry sectors A Line Manager who will work closely with you to support you through your development and provide day to day guidance A 'buddy' and a useful induction to help you get up to speed A modern, recently refurbished Oxford office Benefits: Full funding and study support 20 days holiday including bank holidays, plus the opportunity to buy/sell holiday to fit your lifestyle Competitive salary Flexible working Pension scheme Retail discount scheme Duties : Building productive working relationships within Shaw Gibbs and with clients Using a variety of accounting software packages including CCH, Sage and Xero Preparation of management accounts and completion of VAT returns Preparing opening balance journals Processing sales and purchase invoices and reconciling the bank account Developing and applying your technical knowledge through on the job training and formal qualifications Supporting managers and directors as part of a focused client service team, which will include responding to client queries in a professional and timely manner Training and mentoring junior members of the team Requirements: Educated to A-Level or Higher At least 2 years of UK accountancy practice experience (preferably with an outsourcing team) AAT Qualified or ACCA Part qualified Great attention to detail Strong communication skills Good IT skills, ideally with an understanding of Xero A confident and proactive attitude Excellent time management skills Enjoy working as part of a team If you are interested in this role, please apply directly or contact Chloe Scott at AJ Chambers.
