Clinical Psychologist - ABI/Mental Health - Secure Hospital Cheshire Salary: £37,000 - £49,500 DOE Remit Compass Associates are proudly working with a leading provider of private mental health, learning disabilities and neurological services to recruit a Junior or Senior Clinical Psychologist. This is a full time, permanent role which is based at a secure hospital in Cheshire for adult males with challenging behaviours and complex needs due to acquired brain injuries. There are also specialist wards and facilities for males with dual diagnoses, autism, learning disbailities and other mental health conditions. The hospital is comprised of low secure, medium secure and locked rehab wards (3 x ABI wards, 1 x deaf mental health ward and 1 x autism ward). The service provides a low stimulus environment and has excellent facilities including; patient café, multi-sensory spaces, therapy suite, IT rooms, activity workshops and gym with qualified instructor. You will share the caseload with two other Qualified Psychologists, including a Lead Psychologist. Although independently managing your own caseload, you will work closely with the wider MDT which includes Consultant Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Psychotherapists, PBS Therapist, Specialist Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and SALTs. Commutable from: Manchester, Liverpool, Nantwich, Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, St Helens, Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Macclesfield, Altrincham, Stockport, Bolton, Wigan and nearby towns.
