Overview
Interim Financial Accountant - Local Government - Up to £500 per Day Your new company You will be working for a local Government Authority based in North London. A lively and vibrant place to work, with a great team around you. Your new role You will be responsible for the full close down of the accounts, paying particular notice to the statutory accounts. You will be posting journals, working on reconciliations and overseeing that everything is accurate. The role will enable further work to be done after year end in regards to budgeting, forecasting and implementation of ideas. Knowledge of Tax & VAT within local authorities will stand you apart form other candidates and will be required during the role. What you'll need to succeed Candidates must be CCAB Qualified, and have previous experience of a full close down. Ideally they would like somebody from a local authority background but are not apposed to variation if the skills are at a very high level.
