Overview
Position: Financial Accountant Reporting to: Head ofFinancial Accounting Location Base: CentralLondon Contract: 3-6 Months Day Rate: £400-450 p/d The Role: The Financial Accountant role is a key part of the Accounting team, this role you will be joining a thriving Accounting team working collaboratively as well as being able to work off your own initiative and using your expertise to support some of the junior members of the team when needed. Experience, Requirements and Key Behaviours: Must be ACCA or ACA Qualified Strong Auditing exposure Completing disclosure review checks on the statutory financial statements Balance sheet reconciliations Liaise with auditors on interim and year-end audit to ensure adequate information is provided within agreed timescales. Production of key audit schedules and analysis Production of accounting policy papers Strong technical finance knowledge - with ability to provide technical financial information to people outside of the finance sector Hands-on with a keen eye for detail and a passion for getting the accounting right Genuine, practical experience of completing complicated reconciliations Up to date technical knowledge of accounting best practice and IFRS Proactive in dealing with issues and a desire to make changes that continuously improve their processes, their team and themselves.
