Overview
Your new company My client are recruiting a Head of Cyber Security on a 6 month contract basis. The role is based in the West Midlands and is inside IR-35. Your new role As the Head of Cyber Security, you will be responsible for building the security team up from a low base and articulating the value of security to senior executives to gain investment in innovation. What you'll need to succeed Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of security Previous experience working as a "Head Of" or senior position and managing a team of around 10-20. Non-technical experience - understanding processes, governance, compliance etc. Extensive knowledge of cloud and digital transformation and how security needs to evolve in order to remain relevant - worked in a modern environment i.e cloud security, moving to the cloud, AWS etc Need to bring innovative ideas and changes to the way security service works. Need to have technical knowledge and understanding in the wider domain i.e previous security architect/security consultant experience will be ideal ISO27001 / ISO implementation is essential PCI experience is desirable What you'll get in return £850-900 per day- inside IR-35 What you need to do now If you are interested in this role, please can you reply with an up to date CV
