Overview
Head of Legal My client is one of the country's leading Financial Services organisations. They are seeking a new Head of Legal to lead their team reporting into the General Counsel. Your role will encompass a whole variety of matters including: · delivery of legal advice to different business units, using both internal legal resource and external legal firms; · ensuring resources and activities are aligned to broader corporate priorities and potential legal risks · managing compliance and regulatory matters; · managing insurance arrangements for the business, ensuring cover is in place and dealing with notifications as required; · engaging extensively with other Executives and Leaders as well as participating in the work of risk and business committees; · working with external counsel and other third parties on a wide variety of projects · working closely with other areas of the business - including product and marketing, procurement and information security About you: You will be an experienced Head of Legal or Senior Legal counsel seeking their next step up. You will come from a regulatory background - financial services is an advantage but not essential. The successful candidate will be an engaging and motivated leader with the ability to influence at all levels. An excellent package is on offer for the right candidate.
