Commercial Litigation Paralegal A top tier law firm based in London is seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join the award winning commercial dispute resolution team on an initial contract basis. There is strong possibility this role will lead to a training contract offer, if you are not already a future trainee. The Firm The firm boasts an excellent client base of financial services, construction, real estate and technology companies and are instructed on complex and interesting disputes. The team are currently working on an interesting technology dispute involving a household name and a complex shareholder dispute. The Role The firm are seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal initially on a 6-12 month contract and they are ideally seeking a paralegal who has experience with the whole range of litigation tasks, from instruction, disclosure and through to preparing for trial. Duties will include: Proof reading Legal research Disclosure Reviewing documents for relevance and privilege Coding and indexing Redaction Pagination Bundling Drafting correspondence Preparing court documents The Requirements This Commercial Litigation Paralegal role would suit a future trainee with litigation experience who is seeking to gain trainee level work before starting their training contract, or equally a paralegal who has gained at least 12 months litigation experience at a highly regarded firm. Exceptional academics are key for this Commercial Litigation Paralegal role as the firm like to progress their paralegals into trainees. Therefore you must meet their minimum requirement for training contracts to be considered for the paralegal role. This will include A’s and A’s at A-Level, a 2.1 and you ideally will have completed the LPC and gained a Distinction or Commendation.
