Overview
Job Description To act as Deputy to the Radiotherapy Service Manager and to be a Systems Administrator for the Radiotherapy computerized patient management system This is a part time role working 26.5 hrs per week on a fixed term contract. The salary being offered is competitive and will be dependent upon skills and experience. Job Responsibility In conjunction with the other Superintendents, ensure all referrals for radiotherapy are dealt with promptly and efficiently in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. In conjunction with senior radiotherapeutic staff, agree, implement and monitor systems of work, quality assurance procedures and protocols. Maintain effective liaison with all appropriate staff to ensure the provision of a high quality service and a smooth and efficient work flow through the department. In conjunction with other health professionals, support and participate in a team approach to problem solving leading to the continued development of the radiotherapy service. Assist in the recruitment and retention of the radiotherapeutic staff Skills and Experience DCR(T)/BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent HPC registration Extensive experience at Superintendent level UK experience is preferable for this particular role.
