Financial Controller - Professional Services - £65-70,000 negotiable - London Our client is one of the UK's leading Professional Services and Business Advisory Firms, T/O £15m with 150 staff and growing. Based in the City, the firm is looking for an impressive accountant as Financial Controller, a number one role, reporting to the Board. To aid further growth and diversification in the business, the new Financial Controller will be responsible for:- Quality management information and attendance at Board meetings Enhancement and integration of financial and practice management systems Oversee team of 4 staff; bookkeeping, VAT, reconciliations, billings KPI reporting, WIP analysis, recoverability and productivity reporting Budgeting, forecasting, management accounts and variance analysis Group accounts, capital accounts and year end statutory reporting Liaison with HR and payroll team; administer auto-enrolment scheme Insurances, professional indemnity, legal liaison, ad hoc reporting This is an excellent Financial Controller role for an accomplished accountant with man-management experience seeking a long term opportunity to contribute to the development of a Professional Services organisation as the number one in finance. An accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACMA, ACA) and experience in a similar professional services environment (practice, accountancy, legal, insurance, surveyors) are both desirable, although other candidates can be considered. Salary is negotiable according to experience.
