Building Performance Engineer London Competitive Starting Salary Benefits Ref: SH941 Penguin Recruitment is currently working alongside a leading multi-disciplined engineering consultancy, specialising in Sustainability, to add an experienced Building Performance Engineer to their technical team in London. You will be joining a well-recognised and award-winning consultancy, with offices throughout the UK, as they look to expand their team. This Building Performance Engineer role will see you take on new duties such as: Provide strategic low energy/carbon design advice Undertake Dynamic Thermal Modelling using IESVE software Prepare Energy Assessments for Local Authority approval as part of planning applications Undertake energy audits on simple and complex buildings Prepare Low and Zero Carbon (LZC) technology feasibility studies To be considered for this Building Performance Engineer role, you will ideally: Have 2 years' experience in a similar position Be a qualified Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA) Level 5 Be an accredited Low Carbon Consultant (LCC) Have experience with thermal modelling in IES-VE Have an appreciation of low energy buildings and how this can reflect upon design principles, as well as a good understanding of HVAC systems Our client will offer their new Building Performance Engineer a competitive starting salary plus excellent benefits along with excellent career progression opportunities.
