Overview

We are looking for a problem solver with strong analytical skills to join a very well-established healthcare provider as a Business Intelligence Developer based in Derby. You will contribute to providing all aspects of data collection, data management, ETL and data validation requirements for the business and its subsidiary companies. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience working in a management information systems or data analyst role Previous experience of mining data from multiple systems Previous experience of working with ETL methodology Knowledge & experience of Microsoft TSQL and & Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft PowerBI or other BI tools, Adastra, TPP SystmOne, Mitel, Dynamics Navision, & Injixo systems Experience of working in a healthcare or similar administrative environment Ability to publish information in an excellent format for use at any level within the organisation Promoting quality reporting methods including recommendations and driving change where necessary Within this position, you’ll also be: Creating, updating, and maintaining reports, datasets, ETL, and stored procedures for the Business Analytics department Improving performance of existing reports, ETL, and stored procedures, and overall data quality for the Business Analytics department Writing and updating instructions for the department to follow Maintaining strict version control for audit purposes Ongoing reporting on performance and activities for all divisions within the company Liaising with operations & clinical teams to understand processes, enabling you to correctly identify what to report on Automating report generation and delivery Merging data between different systems (e.g. rota for staffing, phone for demand & performance, clinical for activity details) to provide insights Identifying people’s required end report result in order to create analytics that’s fit-for-purpose Salary & Working Hours Salary is £28,000 - £30,000 Working hours are Monday – Friday 37.5 hours Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.
