Ashley Kate HR & Finance are pleased to be partnering with a global business on a Regional HR Business Partner role (Midlands region). This is a unique opportunity to join a leading organisation who have gone through a positive period of change and are now looking at UK transformation Frequent travel will be required to fulfil the requirements of the role, however you will be abel to work from home and manage your time autonomously. You must be a proven HR generalist who recognises the value of operating as a true business partner, you will have experience of collaborating up to and including senior leaders. With sound knowledge/experience in employment law and being commercially savvy you will be expected to provide solutions to business challenges as the organisation continues to grow. Besides supporting on the day-to-day operations you will also be expected to collaborate with peers and key stakeholders to deliver on local and global projects - implementing and communicating to achieve the desired milestones and objectives. Due to the number of sites and different challenges you will need to have a proven background dealing with a high number of ER cases at all levels. HR Business Partner – About the role You will be a member of the UK wide HR team and you will work with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to HR, whilst driving best practice You will need to have demonstrable experience around Mergers and Acquisitions You will be hands-on with TUPE processes, conducting initial meetings with employees joining the business and supporting local line managers as they on board Manage employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy Own the management of the internal HR system or similar and ensure that users can use the system Keep informed of all legislative changes, determine impact on the organisation and implement as required Support the recruitment process – this may include supporting staff members in writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms etc. Taking ownership of internal communications – ensuring that they are embedded into staff practice and understanding For more details about this role, please contact Rachel Rowe or Jacqui Wall
